Hardman is based in New York City, where owners Erika and Liam Hardman live and work.
Do I need an appointment to visit?
Yes. Visits are by appointment so you have unhurried time with the collection and our team. You can book an in-person visit or a virtual design consultation.
Can I buy pieces directly from the showroom?
All Hardman furniture is made to order, so showroom pieces are for viewing rather than purchase, letting you see and feel the materials, finishes, and construction in person.
Can I order wood and upholstery samples?
Yes, we offer both wood and upholstery samples. This way you can see and feel the species, grain, finish, and fabric before you order. Samples are double-sided to show both of our standard sheens, Matt and Half Gloss. Samples cover our four FSC-certified hardwoods: oak, walnut, ash, and iroko. You can request them from our Wood Samples page. All of our clients receive complimentary finish samples and swatches.
Do you work with interior designers and trade professionals?
Yes. Hardman’s trade program is open to interior designers, decorators, architects, contractors, and other trade professionals sourcing handcrafted hardwood furniture for homes, apartments, cafés, hotels, lounges, and other hospitality spaces.
Our trade program includes easy customization, a single point of contact, exclusive pricing, and the resources you need to specify pieces for each project.
